Intercom

These room posts are equipped with duplex intercom, also called duplex speak or two-way speech.

Certain room posts have VOX switching. This function measures the surrounding noise in the room. If the noise is higher than a certain threshold during a certain period of time, a call is launched automatically. Both parameters can be set centrally by means of a PC with the EASY GUARD software installed. These parameters can differ between the different times of day. 

When the room post is equipped with digital music broadcasting, this feature allows for the distribution of 9 audio programmes via only 2 channels (one pair of the UTP cat 5. cable) to the different rooms.
